Carmen Brennan Wildfire

Biography, Singing Journey and Making of the Music

Carmen Brennan Is Wildfire, she was born in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and she was brought up in the Goldfields. She is a descendant of the Wongutha tribe in the Goldfields and Noongar tribe from the Great South West, she is related to a lot of other indigenous tribes, right throughout Australia.

She was named Wildfire from her grandfather Barney Williams, a strong tribal man, her mother Rosaline Brennan nee Williams/Coyne, who was a singer and aunt Gloria Brennan, who was a grand pianist, were her inspiration to sing and enrolled her into the choir at Central Primary School.  

She has sung a mixer of cover songs, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, country, rock and roll, pop, R n B etc... for many years. She grew up sitting around the campfire singing with family and relatives, who were gifted musicians singing gospel songs & country songs. When she did her schooling at Central Primary School in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, she was in the school choir, her music teacher would find keen interest in her by teaching her the high notes during recess and lunch time.  

Her burning flame and desire in her heart to be a professional singer, started when she sung with anything, she could put her hands on such as a brushes, hair dryers, deodorants and broome sticks, to use as a microphone to perform in front of the mirror many times.  

She loves singing because singing is her life, singing will always be her life. Quote "The fire that burns in her, burns brighter than the fire around her"; "I am hot, I am wild, I am on fire. Burning flame, in my heart, I am on fire. Hunger and thirst, in my mind, and desire" and "You can take the girl out of the bush, but you can’t take the bush out of the girl".  

She grew up singing from childhood to adulthood, she is an amazing, unique and talented solo artist in her domain, she has always loved, admired and idolised her divas, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston & she always tried to sing on top of their voices and keeping up with their vocals ranges.  

She certainly is a very talented & gifted singer, when she suffered severe depression, that lead her to singing at Karaoke pubs & to compete in all the Karaoke Competitions, were she built her self-esteem up, She won and still holds the title for "Goldfields Has Talent" competition in 2014 and local ranking 1st place for the "Karaoke World Championship" 2016 for Kalgoorlie-Boulder.  

By winning "Goldfields Has Talent" 2014 competition and "Karaoke World Championship" 2016 for Kalgoorlie-Boulder, this motivated her to perform, in other venues such at Amana Home- Edward Collick Agecare, Indian function, Indonesian function, baby competition, wedding function, fundraising, Coolgardie day, Coolgardie concert, Albion Hotel, Exchange Hotel for New Years Eve and in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder event at the Centennial Park in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. In her performances, she certainly won over the hearts of many music lovers of all walks of life, by performing at a variety of venues & making a lots of public appearances.  

Her desire to succeed as a professional singer, went to a higher level, when she decided to leave Kalgoorlie-Boulder to study at Abmusic to receive her Industry in Music certificates in Perth. She then decided to write her own original songs, through love, life experiences, truth and motivation. When she went back to Kalgoorlie-Boulder, in her spare time, she worked with Musician and Music Producer Paul Vedant, who found confidence in her talent and helped make her original songs, through his endless, tiredless hours of dedication.

Because of the Covid19 Restriction 2020 in Perth District area, she went back to the Kalgoorlie-Boulder, to take care of her father and grandson, she is now, working towards a debut, appearance and launch in the future.
